MatchesStanding tall at 6'3", Gurjapneet Singh is a left-arm medium pacer who originally hails from Punjab but moved to Chennai at 17 and was previously a net bowler for CSK and the Indian Cricket Team. His ability to extract movement with the new ball, swing the ball both ways, and generate extra bounce makes him a valuable asset. 27-year-old Gurjapneet made a strong impression in the 2025-26 Duleep Trophy, bagging 10 wickets in two matches at an average of 24.10, including two four-wicket hauls. The pacer was also picked for India A later in 2025 for the unofficial ODI series against Australia A. CSK secured Gurjapneet for INR 2.2 Crore at the 2025 TATA IPL Auction, but he could not get a game last season. The up and coming fast bowler will hope that 2026 is the year for a dream debut.
